With summer around the corner, there’s a good chance you might be heading on a vacation. Whether you’re going to Costa Rica, London or Hawaii, keeping a travel mindset will be key as you pack to head on your next adventure. So, in this blog post, we’re sharing our top tips to help you travel with ease. Keep on reading if this interests you!
1. Only take the necessities.
You don’t need to take everything with you on your vacation! Make sure to limit the amount of cash and bank cards you carry with you, so if something does happen, you can easily recover.
2. Make extra copies of your passport and important documents.
Your passport is one of the most important items you will bring with you on vacation. Make sure to keep a copy on your phone and to e-mail a copy to yourself, too. You never know when you might need to have some sort of documentation with you and you might not want to carry your original around with you all vacation long.
3. Take pictures of your luggage and clothes.
If your bag gets lost, this will help identify it more easily and speed up the process of having your travel insurance reimburse you.
4. Bring supportive shoes with you!
Odds are that you’re going to be walking a lot on your upcoming trip! Make sure you pack one or two supportive pair of shoes to help you take on those long travel days. No matter the shoe style you’re going for, you should feel comfortable and supported. From supportive animal print women’s shoes for a fun dinner out, to casual women’s sneakers for long days of sightseeing, make sure you pack accordingly for your vacation.
5. When you check in to the hotel, don’t be afraid to ask for an upgrade.
Many hotels will have a lot of flexibility when it comes to assigning upgrades at check-in! It never hurts to ask. Often times, your hotel accommodate your request if they aren’t full.
6. Lunchtime is the best time to visit historical sites.
It’s always best to visit a popular attraction super early, late or when people eat. You’ll have even the most popular places to yourself!
7. Take an empty reusable water bottle through airport security and fill it up at your gate.
Drink from the tap when you can! You’ll save tons of money and you will help the environment. If you’re going somewhere where you can’t drink their water, be sure to get a water bottle with a filter.
8. Take tons of photos!
This one is so important! Years from now, you’ll want to look back on your vacation and remember all the people who made it memorable!

Hello-
I have some Vionic sandal that I bought a few years back- they are my absolute favorite! They are getting wore out now and is like to get some just like them again. The sandals had big “gem stones” in them, I have a leopard pair with yellow stones and a solid black pair with black stones. Is there any way I can find these shoes anywhere so I can buy them again?

Thanks for reaching out, Mandy! Do you know what style this was?

I have these same flip flops. They were my very first Vionic sandal. The bed of the shoe has a little more give to it than the Tide that I usually wear. They have got to be at least 7-8 yrs old. I have bought about 7-8 more flip flops since then but they are not the same. I still have these!
