As you’re approaching race week, it’s important to prepare! Ciara suggests these do’s & don’ts in the week leading up to race day:
DO:
- Taper/pull back intense activity
- Lessen stress, focus on sleep and nutrition
- Plan race day details–food, supplements, race outfit, post-race clothes
DON’T:
- Over do it
- Try anything new (A cardinal race day rule!)
- Second guess your training
