Chances are you’ve started thinking about the upcoming holidays and ways to maintain (at least a few) healthy habits while enjoying all the food, friends and fun. Luckily, the Venture sneaker debuted this month, and it’s the perfect tool to keep you moving throughout the holiday season. We spoke to two of the product development specialists responsible for this sleek new design.
“The Venture is the lightest, most breathable athletic shoe we’ve made so far,” says Tony, our Technical Designer. “It’s lightweight, but it has the same tried and tested Orthaheel technology as all of our other shoes.”

What sets the Venture apart?
“We’ve added an EVA board in the base of the shoe that’s padded and perforated for extra cushioning, as well as arch reinforcement. Even though it’s a flexible shoe, it’s still very supportive.”
“There’s a lot of breathability in the Venture because of the double-mesh upper,” adds Emily, one of our footwear designers. “We’ve really paid attention to the seam placement in the upper so that movement is unrestricted. It won’t rub against the more sensitive areas of your foot.”
And the best part? “It matches all your favorite colors in your wardrobe,” says Emily. “My favorite color way is the silver chartreuse!”
